Do you sometimes feel stressed and overwhelmed. Join us to learn how you can use tools such as self-hypnosis, meditation and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to lower your stress levels. The instructor, Deb Kizilcan, BA, CCH, LMT has over 20 years of education and experience in the wellness field. She is certified in Mindfulness Meditation, EFT and is a Consulting Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotist with a specialty in Medical Hypnosis. She has her own business Deb K Hypnosis.

This program is part of our "Combining Good Ingredients"  LSTA Grant. This program was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.The grant is administered through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Chicopee resident Sean Goonan will introduce you to his book The Foundation for Exploration. Sean says, "I have created a revolutionary philosophical framework for understanding existence that is meant to be applied to everyday life. He explains that part of the framework is that when faced with a feeling of powerlessness in any situation, people have a choice to act either destructively or constructively, and goes into what each of those choices entails. Sean will also discuss other parts of his framework and how these frameworks play out in families, economics and community. No matter what position in life a person may be in, this book will help open up a new perspective that will benefit them greatly.
