Want to brush up on your reading skills?  Love dogs? Practice reading with a therapy dog who loves to listen to stories! The Children’s Room is hosting a unique program, Paws to Read, on the second Thursday of the month, January thru May. The dates for this reading program are January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12 and May 10 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and will have a drop-in format, no registration required.  Readers, age 12 and under, will have a 15-minute reading session, first come, first served.

There’s nothing better than a book in your hand and a fluffy friend by your side!  Participants should bring a book with them so they are ready to read to the therapy dog when it is their turn.  Please note: This program is for children who are reading on their own - age 12 and under. All volunteers teams provided by Windwalker Pet Therapy.
