Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Briefing Book, watching the DVD and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. Engage your child's creativity with a story-themed yoga class that you can enjoy together! 

Yoga poses and stories are woven together to create a unique and interactive practice for this busy age. Your child will experience the benefits of yoga as they learn postures which ask them to jump like a frog, swim like a fish, and fly like an eagle. Enjoy stories as well as music, deep breathing, and relaxation to introduce young students (and their parents) to the joy of yoga.

The summer reading program "Libraries Rock" is just around the corner and we are looking for student volunteers. If you want to have fun, and can commit to working 2 hours a week, come to the library beginning Tuesday, May 29th to apply and secure a spot. (Popular time slots fill quickly.) Volunteers MUST be accompanied by an adult when registering.

Join Professor Paul Thifault of Springfield College in rediscovering the women writers who put American literature on the map.You’ll enjoy a lively discussion of how these pioneering authors (once labeled a “damned mob of scribbling women” by Nathaniel Hawthorne) enlarged the nation’s cultural frontiers by inventing new literary genres, writing the nation’s first bestsellers, and crafting fiction that helped ignite the Civil War.
