Ages 7 - 12: What are some of your favorite things this summer? Come create a fun, custom time capsule that’s waterproof so you can dig and hide it in your own back yard! Various media will be used and feel free to bring some special objects from home. (Objects must fit a tennis ball canister.)

For all ages: Not too long ago, Science and Storytelling were accidentally mixed.  Here is what happened...

Sciencetellers - The Bugs of Blackwood
Benjamin has a good life living on Blackwood Avenue.  Most of his neighbors are friendly.  He has a large extended family always there to help him.  And on most days you’ll find him working in the garden.  However, all this was about to change the day he was accidentally brought into the house.  You see, Benjamin is a bug and now he must be rescued!  Join us as we learn about the science of matter by telling the tale of The Bugs of Blackwood.  By using experiments with fire, gas, air pressure, water, chemicals, and much more; see if Benjamin’s friends can save him before all hope is squashed!

Children of all ages are invited to watch the Airborne Jugglers as they help us to close out the summer with lots of fun and laughs!  This event will take place on the lawn, where you can watch while you eat your picnic!   You bring the dinner, we'll provide dessert!  Arrive as early as 6:00 pm to choose your picnic spot.
