Today's guest reader is children's picture book author and illustrator, Nancy Cote.  Nancy is a local, award-winning artist of over 30 books for children. Her stories, illustrations, paintings and poems have been in many exhibits, collections and children's magazines internationally.  Nancy will share her newest picture book, "Watch the Cookie!" For ages 3 and up.

Signed copies of her book will be made available for purchase after storytime.

“ The Majesty and Mystery of Crop Circles”, a 90 minute power point presentation featuring complex designs that are found annually in farmers’ fields and other locations worldwide, will be offered by naturalist John Root at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, June 10 at the Fall River Public Library, 104 N. Main St. in Fall River. Free to the public. 

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Local author, Carla Marrero, writer and illustrator of The Magic Cat and Mimsie's Mousie, returns to the Library to share her newest book.  Carla will read from her latest picture book for children, C.J.'s Hideaway, based upon the adventures of one of the author's several pet felines. Carla will also share with her audience how she gets her ideas and how she creates her illustrations.  Autographed copies can be purchased after the program.
