Submit your book reviews starting on Wednesday, July 5, the same day as our exciting Kick-off Party with award winning poet Jaylene Clark Owens.

Summer Reading Kickoff Party with award winning poet, Jaylene Clark Owens.  Enjoy a poetry workshop, performance, pizza, and more!  Plus, you can start to submit your book reviews today!

Help us make Cards for Hospitalized Kids to provide hope and joy for those in need.  Community service credits are avaible for this event.

   6:30 PM  -  8:00 PM Teen/Parent Book Discussion Group: Sisters by Raina Telgemeier Teen Summer Reading Program Event  
   

Teens and parents are invited to a book discussion for Sisters by Raina Telgemeier, the companion memoir to bestselling Smile.  The Teen Summer Reading Program theme Build a Better World” is reflected in Sisters, a graphic novel about family, travel, relationships, and more.   

Check out a copy of the book or reserve your copy, in advance.  Register online, in person, or by phone, 466-8055 ext. 218.  For teens in grades 7 – 12 (as of September) and their parents.  There is a separate registration for teens and parents.

   6:00 PM  -  8:00 PM Giant Jenga Community Service Teen Summer Reading Program Special Event  
   

Help us create a Giant Jenga set with art and messages of peace and hope on the pieces.  The Giant Jenga set will be donated to a facility where younger children use it for play.  Community Service Credits are available for this event.
