     THE KING'S CHOICE is based on the true the story about three dramatic days in April 1940, where the King of Norway is presented with an unimaginable ultimatum from the German armed forces: surrender or die. With Nazi soldiers hunting after them, the Royal Family is forced to flee the capital. In the best interest of the family, the Crown Princess Märtha leaves Norway with the children to seek refuge in Sweden, whilst King Haakon and the Crown Prince Olav flee to a small farming area just outside Elverum and meet the Germans head on. After three days of desperately trying to evade the Germans, King Haakon makes his final decision. He refuses to capitulate, even if it may cost him, his family and many Norwegians their lives.  Rating:  NR. APPRISE is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help Pennsylvania residents over the age of 60 and those with disabilities with health insurance concerns. The Pa Dept. of Aging created APPRISE to help seniors understand their Medicare insurance options and make informed choices that would best meet their needs.

Join us at Kremp Florist (220 Davisville Road, Willow Grove) to learn the art of flower arranging.  Instruction by a top floral designer will help you design and make your own floral centerpiece.

The class includes all flowers, greens, design accounts and container.  You must be able to stand for one hour or bring a stool/chair. The tables are standing height and open-toes shoes are not permitted.  

Bring your own scissors, clippers, or knife: and a bag or box to bring your arrangement home.

This war was actually the decisive end to the American Revolution. During the Revolutionary War, the turmoil and violence in the individual colonies fueled continuing divisions to determine just who would rule at home in each state. The War of 1812 was really waged to determine who would govern all the states. Join us to learn the true history of the War of 1812, our first Civil War.

  • Medicare 2019will help individuals understand the basics of Medicare, what it covers, and how the various types of health and drug insurance work.  The presentation is intended mainly for persons who are new to Medicare or are approaching Medicare eligibility.

APPRISE is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help Pennsylvania residents over the age of 60 and those with disabilities with health insurance concerns. The Pa Dept. of Aging created APPRISE to help seniors understand their Medicare insurance options and make informed choices that would best meet their needs.
