The PACE Play and Learn Together Playgroup is back!!!
This is a FREE monthly parent/child playgroup for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
There are 2 Playgroup sessions.
The first session will be from 10:30-11:30 and is best suited for ages 0-3.
The second session will run from 11:45-12:45 and is best suited for ages 4-6.
*If you have children in both age groups, pick the time that works best for you!
Playgroups will meet the LAST Wednesday of the month!
This playgroup experience will help your child learn to work and play with others. We will provide you and your child stimulating materials that will encourage curiosity and a desire to learn! Playgroups are designed to meet varied learning styles, encourage curiosity and form community connections. Follow your child’s lead and watch them grow!

Once Upon A Generation
|
|
|
|
Please join us for a peek into the young lives of our Sensational Seniors! The performance is the culmination of a ten-week intergenerational program, connecting Lakeville, Freetown, and Taunton seniors with experienced storytelling students from the Freetown/Lakeville School District. Travel in your imaginations with a young man, fresh from high school graduation who learns a quick life lesson, and a teenager caring for her eight siblings during the depression. Meet a college student who almost ignites an international incident during the Cold War, join a small child as she discovers that the Lone Ranger can’t save her from herself, and much more! These stories are fun, heartwarming, and touching glimpses into the past of lives changed, transformed, and enriched by
their experiences.
The stories will be performed, not read. We guarantee you will be enchanted!
Questions? Please call Karen Chace at (508) 763-8565 or Andrea Lovett at 781-267-9979.

See the work of Middleboro-based scratchboard artist, Bob Weikel, a member of the International Society of Scratchboard Artists, Oak Point Art Association, and the Taunton Art Association. Scratchboard is a form of direct engraving on a board coated with India Ink wherein the artist uses sharp knives and tools to scratch off dark ink to reveal a white layer beneath. Scratchboard can be used to yield highly detailed, precise and even textured artwork. These works can be left black and white or color added. He will also be in the gallery and available to answer questions and discuss his art work on Saturday, June 8, 12-2 pm.
