    Contact: Chris Matos   508-758-4171   cmatos@sailsinc.org

Challenge! Trivia is now VIRTUAL…and since you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you!

The Trivia Brothers have managed to squeeze the same zany, light-hearted trivia fun into a package small enough to fit on your computer screen! That’s right, you can now enjoy your very own, personalized “Challenge! Trivia” episode from the comfort of your own home!

Enjoying an episode of “Challenge! Trivia” is easy.  Here’s what you need to know:

First and foremost, you will need TWO DEVICES in order to enjoy the optimal experience - a computer (to join the Zoom meeting) and a smart phone or tablet (to play the game).

Teams can be comprised of individual or multiple players.  Recommended team size is 3-6 players.  If members of a team are in separate locations, we suggest arranging a conference call during the game.

IMPORTANT!  Each team will use ONLY ONE smart phone or tablet to enter the game and submit the answers.

Use the Zoom link provided by your event host to connect.  Your link will be available the day of your episode.

We strongly suggest using a computer to enter the meeting and view the episode.
(“Virtual doors” to the waiting room will open 10 minutes prior to the start of the game and the game will begin promptly at the advertised start time.)

Although it’s not mandatory, the Trivia Brothers suggest joining the meeting with video on so they can interact with you!

Then, once the episode officially starts, the Trivia Brothers will tell you how to register (using your smart phone or tablet) so you can play!

Don’t worry, there is no special app to play, simply a website THAT WILL BE ANNOUNCED ONCE YOU ARE IN THE EVENT.

AGAIN, it’s ONE phone/tablet per team during gameplay.

This event is funded by the Mattapoisett Cultural Council.  Thank you.

    Contact: Jennifer Jones   508-758-4171   jjones@sailsinc.org

Through funds provided by the Mattapoisett Library Trust, ten families will be able to enjoy a virtual concert with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.  This month's presentation is:

Holiday Pops Family Concert

Share the joy of the season with friends and family, in the comfort of your own home!

Our virtual concert will include our magnificent NBSO musicians performing your holiday favorites at festive locations around the South Coast, Music Director Yaniv Dinur and South Coast Chamber Artistic Director Janice Weber performing a piano piece for 4 hands, a show-stopping performance by the Showstoppers, the entire orchestra in a joyful performance of Sleigh Ride, and soprano Elena Shaddow, a rising star of stage and screen, singing holiday songs with Yaniv’s virtual accompaniment! We might even throw in some ugly Christmas sweaters…

We’re still working out the details on more surprises, so stay tuned!

To sign up for a virtual ticket, please use the register button and fill out the form.  You will get an email with concert information from the NBSO so you can listen.  If you have questions, contact Jennifer Jones at jjones@sailsinc.org.
