The Medway Library Makerspace is now open.    If you would like to use the 3D printer,  you will need to complete the certification process.  You will be shown how to download an object and adjust the size,  the procedure for paying for the object and how to print the object.    To speed up the process, please fill out the Makerspace Waiver and Room Agreement forms prior to certification.   Forms are available at the circulation desk.

Final grades for the school year are due in half an hour and your biggest assignment has gone missing! Crack the codes to break the box open and figure out where the stolen homework has gone!  Ages 12 and up. Register in advance. Library will be open after regular hours for this special event only.

Register to be certified to use the sewing machines located in the makerspace.  

 If you would like to use the sewing machines,  you will need to complete the certification process.  You will be shown how to thread and operate the machines.   You will also be given a take home informational handout that you can refer to when you are in the room working on your future project.

We understand that families will want to be certified together so please indicate on the registration form the number of people in the group.

To speed up the process, please fill out the Makerspace Waiver and Room Agreement forms prior to certification.   Forms are available at the circulation desk.

School is in session and now it's "ME" time.
Have you been meaning to get back to your scrapbooking, card making or other paper projects?  Do you want to meet new people or catch up with old friends? 
Every 2nd & 4th Monday of the month in the Makerspace there will be a scrapbooking group from 10am - 1pm.  
Anyone working on any type of craft is welcome since we want it to be a time of connecting, sharing and friendship.
The group will not meet on holidays and during school vacations.

The BFG and Sophie were collecting Phizzwizards, the BEST kind of happy dreams, when they heard a great rumpldumpus. There was an earbursting roar that had Sophie and the BFG skumping. It was the Whizzpopping Giants! The Giants wanted to keep all the Phizzwizards for themselves! Sophie and The BFG locked the Phizzwizards in the Breakout box to keep them safe and hid the box. Then they were able to trick the Giants so that they ran in the wrong direction. The Giants are on the other side of  the world by now, but so are Sophie and The BFG so it is up to us to figure out how to unlock the box so our dreams can all be Phizzwizards! Ages 8-11. Register in advance.

A program for families celebrating reading and the cultural heritage of the United States. Award winning performers Roger Tincknell and Davis Bates share participatory stories and songs designed to amuse, inspire and create a feeling of community, while encouraging reading and awareness of the natural world. The program includes trickster stories, international folktales and folk songs, and contemporary children’s songs. Instruments played include banjo, guitar, mandolin, spoons, and more!
