Tuesday, May 8th & 15th from 6:30-7:45pm

Join us for for a 2-day workshop on May 8 & 15 — "Inner Journey" to decrease the effects of stress, and increase vital life forces which are abundantly available from within. Learn the 7 Main Chakras, Aura, and Inner Polarities of Feminine & Masculine Energies that contribute to the state of body, mind and emotions. Life can create imbalances in our subtle anatomy which can literally drain our life force.

All matter is formed by vibrational frequencies (light & sound), appearing more or less solid according to the rate at which the molecules move. By learning to rejuvenate our energy system, we have the power to raise our vibrational frequency, which then dispels negative influences, and increases our ability to maintain a pleasant life.

To prepare for your Inner Journey, wear comfortable clothing as we will be seated for a tutorial of the human energy system and its function.  This will be followed by a full guided visualization, and if you prefer to lay down for that section, please bring your favorite yoga mat, pillows, and blanket as desired.

Please click here to register online for this event as space is limited. If you have questions about this event, please email: Sheila@SheilaBalance@Gmail.com with Newbury Library Event in the subject line.

Sheila Thomson, began her work within the wellness industry as a Functional Kinesiologist, and Usui Reiki Master. She later became a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner, and Educator, after years of advanced studies. In 1987, she opened her private practice "True Essence Healing" in Byfield, MA, and has assisted many in improving their life experience.

Sheila offers self-care instruction in vibrational healing methods to cultivate inner peace and balance. Raising the vibrations of our human energy system, which plays a role in our overall health and well-being, allows us to more easily accommodate life factors that may bring stress.

Along with these unique self-care tools, Sheila has been a student of Contemplative Mysticism and Meditation for over 26 years. Her personal mission is to raise public awareness on the effective use of energy medicine to restore from within.

   6:00 PM  -  7:00 PM Book in a Box

In this class, we will create a wonderful book and its accompanying box. The accordion book may be any theme you wish, family, flowers, pets, poetry, and anything else your heart desires. It can celebrate a certain person and maybe be used as a gift for them.

Or….. no theme at all, just miscellaneous goodies we find. I will have hundreds of fun things to add to your book so you can collage to your heart’s content!

Bring anything you like:

Pictures from magazines, old book pages, old letters (copy these and photographs, don’t use originals) that will make your book special. Three dimensional thingies work well too, if they’re not too ‘high’.

We will be collaging the box the first day, and making the book the next day, so you will have time to find ideas (and 'stuff'!) of your own to include.

Please register once for both days in this two-day series.

We look forward to having special events with professional genealogists to speak about particular issues, or just to give tips and suggestions for planning and organizing your family research.  We’ll discuss what to do when you hit a wall, how to locate military records, and talk about DNA analysis. Ancestry.com is available for your use at all library computers.
