Marilyn Carmino traces the fascinating life and career of Mikhail Baryshnikov, considered to be one of the greatest ballet dancers in history. Born in Soviet occupied Latvia, he defected to Canada in 1974 to dance with major ballet companies around the world. A successful stage and film actor as well, Baryshnikov was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for his role in The Turning Point.
