    Library staff will prepare a model archaeological site containing a replica of a human burial and numerous cultural remains.  Program participants will learn how to conduct a controlled archaeological excavation by setting up the site, digging and straining the soil, then recording what they find.  An archaeological report will be produced that includes a description of the excavation and analysis of the findings. Appropriate for ages8-14, although other interested children and adults welcome. (This is a hands-on program, so be prepared to get dirty!)
