The Friends of the Vineyard Haven Public Library always welcome new members! All volunteers and those who are interested in knowing more about the Friends meet at 10:30 am on the fourth Saturday of every month (except December) at the library. An annual meeting for the election of officers is held in September.

In his newest documentary Ex Libris, legendary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman brings his incisive vision behind the scenes of one of the world's greatest institutions of learning, capturing the vast programmatic scope of NYC's library system. Admission is free, supported by the Martha's Vineyard Library Association and Friends of Island Libraries. Donations will be accepted for the Island Food Pantry or The Red Stocking Fund.
