Event:	Horizons for Homeless Children Seeks Volunteers! Thursday November 5, 2009 DID YOU KNOW: Nationally approximately 500,000 children aged 0-6 years old experience homelessness in the course of a year! Horizons for Homeless Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services for homeless children throughout Greater Boston and Massachusetts. We work with shelters in and around your neighborhood and are eager to connect with people within the community you serve. We offer daytime and evening shifts, so there is likely to be one that fits your schedule. A commitment of 2 hours a week for 6 months is required. Our next training is scheduled for Tuesday Dec. 1 and Wednesday Dec 2 from 6-9pm (with upcoming trainings on 1/30/2010; 3/30-31/2010; 6/5/2010).
