SPECIAL NEEDS ARTS PROGRAMS PRESENTS ANNUAL FOUNDERS FUND EVENT Sunday October 28, 2018
2:00 PM until 4:00 PM
Special Needs Arts Programs, Inc. (SNAP) is delighted to invite residents of Lexington and surrounding towns to join us for our Annual Fall Founders’ Fund Event on Sunday, October 28, 2:00 PM, at the Estabrook School, 117 Grove St., Lexington. Founded in 1981, SNAP provides people with developmental disabilities opportunities that celebrate each person's unique abilities while cultivating creative expression, building peer relationships, and fostering self-esteem through life-enhancing activities in the arts.
This year’s concert will feature SNAP's Sing Along choruses, directed by Tom Malone and accompanied by Harley Smith III. Special guest performers will be the Boston Jazz Voices, directed by Tsunernori Abe. An 18-voice a cappella ensemble devoted to vocal jazz and known for their lush, sophisticated and complex vocal arrangements, Boston Jazz Voices has performed in the greater Boston area for over 25 years.
In addition to the concert, boxed cards and matted prints created by our Special Artists will be on display and available for purchase. The concert will be followed by a reception and raffle. Proceeds from the event will support the vital programs that SNAP delivers for individuals with developmental disabilities who live in this area.
