Give Your Child a Summer That’s Out of This World with the Science of Space!
GSK Science in the Summer™, is a fun and 100% free science education program for elementary school students entering second through sixth grades. The Fremont Main Library's programs are sponsored by GSK and offered through Lawrence Hall of Science.
Led by certified teachers, students will experience the Science of Space through fun, hands-on activities that teach them about Earth’s moon, the sun, the stars, space travel and more. Each camp consists two 2-hour classes.
- Level 1 classes are perfect for 2nd and 3rd graders.
- Level 2 classes are ideal for students entering 4th, 5th and 6th grades.
Multiple sessions of the same content are available to accommodate more students.
- Session A: July 23 & 30, 1:30-3:30 PM (grades 2-3)
- Session B: July 23 & 30, 4:00-6:00 PM (grades 4-6)
- Session C: August 6 & 7, 1:30-3:30 PM (grades 2-3)
- Session D: August 6 & 7, 4:00-6:00 PM (grades 4-6)

Please register only ONE session. Duplicate registration will be removed.
You must check in 10 minutes before the class starts on the first day or your spot may be cancelled and released to the students waiting in the library.
