Ikebana ClassWednesday July 25, 2018
11:00 AM until 1:00 PM
Come to learn ikebana, Japanese style of flower arrangement, using branches, flowers, and/or leaves to make elegant arrangements emphasizing artistic lines, colors, and mass. Any levels are welcome. The instructor, Gloria Lee, has years of teaching and demonstration experience, will lead the participants to enter the ikebana wonderland.
The Library will provide vases and pin frogs (flower holders) or feel free to bring your own.
Additionally, please bring:the following:
Tool:
One pair of Hand pruners (or ikebana scissors) for cutting flowers, leaves, and branches.
Fresh Material:
Please bring some fresh materials of your choice such as branches or long leaves (at least three), flowers (at least three stems), and some leaves (such as ferns, Camellia branches with leaves, Hydrangea stems with leaves, or any other leaves).
