Did you know Tarentum High School had an orchestra in the early 1920's?
Music played a large part in Tarentum's history. Discover interesting facts about the Tarentum Opera House, area dance halls, firemen's bands, local drum & bugle corps, polka bands, school marching bands, and musical "hot spots" like the Tarena, Henry's and the YMCA. Audience memories are always welcomed. Program will be presented at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 17 and repeated on Wednesday, July 18 at the Tarentum branch llibrary.
