Indulge in works that depict dining and drink through the centuries. Images include busy kitchens, heroic chefs, lush banquets and religious and symbolic associations with food. Registration is requested. Come learn about and share your interpretations of works of art!
This program is part of a new monthly series of Interactive Art Appreciation Talks. Each month, Jane Oneail from Culturally Curious will lead interactive art appreciation talks at the Amesbury Public Library that will mix art historical facts with audience discussion. There will be a new topic each month, check the calendar for more information.
About the Presenter: Jane Oneail holds a master’s in Art History from Boston University and a master’s in Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She is a NH native and has worked at some of the state’s most esteemed cultural institutions, including the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, where she served as Executive Director, and the Currier Museum of Art, where she held the role of Senior Educator.
