H.O.P.E. Helping Other People Emotionally

Wednesday August 14, 2019
10:00 AM until 12:00 PM

H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Emotionally), sponsored by Project Insight 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, was founded by Marsha Nelson, PhD in 2009 as a support group for cancer patients and their caregivers. It has evolved into a support group for EVERYONE who needs or desires emotional support. By utilizing the Creative Journal Expressive Arts (CJEA) methods of Lucia Capacchione, PhD, ATR, REAT, we offer tools for maintaining better mental, emotional, and physical health. In using these exercises, participants are applying proven principles of mental health and preventive medicine. You are sharpening your sensory awareness and paying close attention to your whole being: body-emotions-mind-and spirit. For information on CJEA methods, visit www.LuciaC.com. H.O.P.E. meets in Conference Room B every Wednesday! We provide all supplies. Donations to Project Insight gratefully accepted.
