Join us Saturday, October 19th from 12-2 pm at Nana’s Taqueria (1802 South International Boulevard, Weslaco, Texas 78596) for an afternoon of Cultural Arts – Calaveras(Sugar Skulls) are a traditional craft used throughout Day of the Dead celebrations to honor loved one and those we'd like to remember.
The class will be taught by two local artists from the Rio Grande Valley -Lilliana Cabrera & Laura Sanchez-Martinez. A Presentation by Rene Ballestero from the Museum of South Texas History will give cultural insight to the tradition.
