Book Cooks Wednesday June 17, 2020
6:30 PM until 7:30 PM
Reading has never tasted so good! In this beginning-to-cook class via Zoom, young chefs (preschool-grade 2) will develop an appetite for nutritious foods while being introduced to books that reinforce social and academic skills. Experience new foods and new books! Register online, and a Zoom link will be emailed prior to the program along with a downloadable recipe.

June 17 Recipe: Home Made Flour Tortillas
If possible, please have these supplies ready at your home for our virtual class: large mixing bowl, measuring cup, measuring spoons, wooden spoon, pastry blender (or fork), skillet or griddle, pastry board (or countertop)
Ingredients you will need on hand for recipe:
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2/3 cup shortening
- hot water
