Young chefs of any age can join us via Zoom for a monthly make-from-scratch cooking program with a focus on nutritious foods and a related story at the conclusion of the program. This program increases children's math, problem solving, vocabulary and literacy skills, while tying in chemistry, science and geography. Register online for each program your child will be attending, and a Zoom link will be emailed prior to the program. 
 
Wednesdays at 6:30 pm: January 20, February 17, March 17 and April 14 
 
January 20 recipe: Homemade Soft Pretzels
 
Supplies Needed: whisk, medium-large bowl, wooden spoon or dough hook attached to stand mixer, measuring cups, measuring spoons, floured surface, rolling pin, 2 baking sheets, parchment paper, nonstick spray, knife or pizza cutter, large pot
 
Ingredients Needed: water, 1 packet active dry or instant yeast, salt, 1 tbsp brown or granulated sugar, 1 tbsp unsalted butter, 3 3/4 cups all purpose flour, coarse sea salt, baking soda
