EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Bethel Chess Tournament for Kids

Saturday September 25, 2021
10:00 AM until 1:00 PM

Want to challenge yourself? Love the game of chess?

Bethel Public Library is collaborating with the DIG USA to host an in-person chess tournament on September 25 from 10-1pm.  All children in grades K-5  are welcome to play.

Coach Joe(https://www.teamdigusa.com/dig-coaches/coach-joe-lessard/) , head coach of the Bethel Chess Class, will be the tournament director for this event. He will be doing a lesson right before the tournament starts and will be cheering you on.

There will be 4 rounds. Each round will have a time control of 20 minutes on each side. Everyone will play all 4 rounds. The top 3 players after the rounds will receive prizes!

And even if you didn't participate in the online chess classes we held earlier this year, come and participate. Chess is a universal game—something that we can all share together.  This will be an amazing event for all the chess lovers in Bethel to compete with other players in their town.
