Running from Anxiety is a nonprofit organization aimed at 1. removing the stigma of mental illness, 2. using the physical benefits of fitness and running to promote emotional health, and 3. providing a scholarship to a student in need in the class of 2018. Additionally, Running from Anxiety organizes runs and group meetings to support individuals needing a sense of community to help with their individual fight and assist in removing the stigma through healthy conversation.
