10:00 AM until 11:00 AM
Kids entering grades 1 - 3 are invited to join us for space exploration this summer! Individual registration is required for each week.
June 18 - Strange New Planet - This space mission will take you on a journey to find an "undiscovered planet" and then create an out of this world celestial orb!
June 25 - Telescopes and Impact Craters - We'll explore the use of telescopes for space exploration and have fun making asteroid and meteorite craters.
July 2 - No Class
July 9 - Exploration Rovers - Act like "Mission Control" and use an "Exploration Rover" to navigate a planet's landscape.
July 16 - Astronaut Training - Utilize some of the ways astronauts train for a mission to space. See real NASA mission patches and then make your own!
July 23 - Rockets - Blast off as we explore rockets and make some of our own!
July 30 - Build a Space Colony - Engineer ideas to build a miniature model of a "Space Colony".
