Teens in Grades 8-11
Tuesdays, January 28 and February 4, 6:30-7:45 p.m.
Facilitated by Maryanne Dumas, LMHC, CDF, this workshop will help teens begin the process of discerning their interests and matching them to a college major or career. Through use of the internet, interactive games and lively discussion, students will learn to assess their talents, skills, and abilities in relation to college majors and today’s career choices. They will learn to develop their transferable job skills and discuss the opportunities available to gain exposure to different career fields. Most importantly, it will help teens to begin the life-long process of self-assessment in order to make positive career choices. Please register.
