Join us for our first MCBA Book Club, featuring the 2018 booklist. We will be meeting once a month to discus one of the 25 books on the list. For our first meeting we will be discussing Book Uncle and Me. Light refreshments will be served. A fun activity will follow the discussion.

The MCBA (Massachusetts Children's Book Award) list is for students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. Students are given a master list of book titles. After reading five of the books, students may vote for their favorite The list is compiled from nominations of participating teachers, librarians, and interested publishers. A selection committee works with the nominations and chooses 25 titles to appear on the master list.
