REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED; PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER EACH CHILD SEPARATELY. ALSO, PARENTS/CAREGIVERS DO NOT NEED TO BE REGISTERED, ONLY THEIR CHILDREN.
The Derby Public Library is pleased to host a series of children's music programs presented by the New Haven Symphony Orchestra called
Creating Musical Readers
.
Literacy and music combine in this program
geared for pre-K to 2nd graders
. NHSO musicians bring musical stories to life as they read to students and their instruments become a part of the story. A book will be read featuring a specific orchestral instrument.
This series is provided by a grant from the Valley Community Foundation.
PROGRAM NOTE: This program is a four-part series. The date and time for the third session in the series has yet to be determinded; please check back often for an update.
