February is National Library Lover’s Month! The Derby Public Library will be celebrating February 1-28, 2021 with “Blind Date with a Book.”  Let us be your matchmaker! Staff members select their favorite books revolving around love and other genres. The books will be wrapped, so you won't be able to judge a book by its cover if you take part in this unique event.

The idea is to explore new authors and genres by checking out a blind date book which is concealed in wrapping. Go on a blind date with a book and perhaps it will be love at first sight!  If you don’t enjoy it, no hurt feelings, just dump it (in the library book drop!)

After patrons are done reading the book, they will fill out a "rate your date" card, located inside the book. Place the completed card inside the book when you return it in our book drop.
