Backyard Chicken Basics!

Saturday March 3, 2018
1:00 PM until 3:00 PM

If you've ever thought about raising a few chickens in your back yard, this program is for you!  What do fresh eggs REALLY taste like?  How many hens do you need to supply a family a family of four, six or eight?  Do you really need a rooster?

Join Tom Doherty, a chicken expert from The Aviculture Exchange, on Saturday, March 3rd.  Tom will teach you the basics of starting and sustaining your own flock of backyard chickens!  Come with any and all questions.   Get the answers you need to be successful.

A Dracut Animal Control Officer will be present to discuss town regulations.

Registration opens February 9th!

Sponsored by The Dracut Agricultural Commission.
