In The Wake Of The Mayflower - Virtual Artist/Author Presentation

Karen Rinaldo and Kevin Doyle, co-authors of In the Wake of the Mayflower, The First Encounter, will share highlights from their account of the Mayflower landings and their impact on the native Wampanoagfrom the Pilgrim  landing as recorded in contemporaneous writings and their relations with the Wampanoag Federation before King Philip's War.. Karen is an artist whose work has been shown at Plimoth Plantation. Kevin writes and lectures on historic places and events. Learn lesser-known facts about the Pilgrim adventure and the role Karen’s painting, “The First Thanksgiving – 1621” plays in the Mayflower Quadricentennial events. Prints of the painting are available online for sale and signed by the artist.Proceeds from the sale benefit the work of the Eastham 400 Committee. Copies of the book are available for sale (as well as through the CLAMS catalog to borrow) at the Red Barn Gift Shop and Three Sisters Gift Shop.
