Act One: "In the Middle of the Middles"

"I grew up in a family of 11 children. I was right smack in the middle of the middle group, AKA the ignored ones. We were free to create our own world and had many secret adventures together. We have a bond that lasts to this day."

Act Two: "Muddie, My Grandmother With the Cracker Crumbs On Her Shoulders"

"Cigarettes. Red lipstick. Elizabeth Taylor eyes. She was just your ordinary grandma -- or was she? I'd sit at her kitchen table as she told me stories about her life. So I knew, even as a 7 year old girl, she was far from ordinary. Muddie was magic."
