OUr favorite art teacher Richela Morgan will lead this fun class via Zoom.
An introduction to colors, their feelings, and how to make them “move.” Using graph paper and colored pencils or markers, create a Piet Mondrian inspired abstract. Or, using a large can, a milk or juice carton cap, paper, and markers, create an Ellsworth Kelly inspired work that incorporates basic color theory (e.g. primary colors, secondary colors, and complementary colors).
For ages 8 to 11.
Materials you need to collect before the class:
Markers or colored pencils
Large can (tomato can) or empty duct tape roll
Plastic bottle cap from a half gallon juice/milk carton
3 sheets of paper (8 1/2” x 11”)
