Bodybuilding and Building Bodies: Upgrades from Nature and Technology
Presented by the Yale Science Diplomats. Speakers: Andrew Morgan, Brooks Leitner, Olivia Justynski
An increase in the human lifespan has compelled the need for building and maintaining healthy bodies. In this month’s Science in the News talk, three Yale scientists will discuss the ongoing efforts towards making our bodies healthier, stronger, and more resilient. Through studying the lasting effects of exercise on our organs and bodily systems, designing robots that enhance body functions, and investigating how animals can regrow body parts—scientists are leaving no stone unturned to build better and more adaptive bodies.
