(Virtual) Ready ReadersThursday July 23, 2020
1:00 PM until 2:00 PM
Our library may be closed for the time being, but the Flint Public Library is bringing our programs to you! Join Felicia Gminski, our Program Coordinator and Tween Librarian, on Zoom for this virtual program.
Let's get ready to read! Join Felicia and friends for "Ready Readers," a virtual reading group where children will get to read together, discuss books, and play games! Each session, participants will have the option to read aloud from the book that has been selected, but reading aloud is not mandatory and listeners are always welcome!
Felicia will be sharing the readings virtually so that children can follow along at home, but participants are also strongly encouraged to have their own physical copies of the book as well. Check out our Curbside Pick-Up service if you are interested in reserving a copy of the book from the Flint! Titles will be selected from the list of Massachusettes Childrens' Book Award nominees of 2021 recommended for "Early Grade 4" and "Grade 4" readers.
This session, we will be reading: Dragons in a Bag by Zetta Elliott [Click here to check availability in our catalog!]
Registration: Email Felicia Gminski at email@example.com to receive an invitation to this Zoom meeting.
Age Group(s): This program is best suited for young readers in 3rd-5th grade
