EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Native American Storytelling

Wednesday November 18, 2020
6:30 PM until 7:45 PM

West Newbury, as well as much of northern Massachusetts, was once part of the greater Abenaki confederacy. Join Native American Storyteller, Anne Jennings, for traditional Abenaki and other Northeast Woodlands lesson stories, which are meant to entertain as well instruct.

Anne is a dyed-in-the-wool New Englander with both European and Abenaki heritage whose storytelling skills have been polished by more than 30 years of experience as a performing storyteller. With Master’s degrees in Storytelling and in History, Anne also brings a wealth of cultural and historical knowledge to enrich her retelling of timeless Native American stories.
