DIY Fermenting: Kombucha

Monday April 12, 2021
6:30 PM

“Booch” flows at coffee shops and health food stores. It’s become extremely trendy, but many people still don’t know why it’s good for them. Kombucha’s bacteria—the good kind of bacteria—supports everything from immune function and mental health to nutrient absorption.

A 16-ounce bottle of store-bought kombucha averages about $4. Brewing your own costs about 6¢ for 16 ounces! Join Velya and Ehris, the mother/daughter Grounded Goodwife duo, to learn how to make your own kombucha, and about the importance of adding fermented foods to your diet.
