AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD:
TUESDAY, FEB. 13 between 6:30-9:30 p.m.
THURSDAY, FEB. 15 between 6:30-9:30 p.m.
We’ve got TWO auditions on the same TWO days for TWO amazing Levels projects!
And if you're a teen 7th grade and up, you can audition to be be part of them!
= CLUE: THE MUSICAL (which is the interactive Off-Broadway musical and is NOT based on the movie – though both are based on the classic board game) brings the world's best-known suspects (Professor Plum, Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mrs. Peacock and Mr. Green) to life and invites the audience to help the hard-nosed female Detective solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy (who hosts the evening despite being dead), in what room and with what weapon. There are 216 possible solutions! CLUE auditioners should prepare at least 16 measures of a Broadway-style song and be ready to sing a cappella (without music). They should also be ready to read from the script (excerpts will be available at the audition) and do a group dance/movement audition. Levels casts color-blind and often gender-blind.
= FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE is the return of our SNL-style sketch comedy show, the first episode of which will be livestreamed on the internet this Spring! We’re looking to put together a cast of interesting people who can be funny, can impersonate celebrities and political figures, create original characters and also possibly write and direct sketches! FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE auditioners should prepare to tell a joke, do an impression of someone we’d recognize (or show us an original character), and do some simple improvisation. Levels casts color-blind and often gender-blind.
Designer and producer candidates for CLUE will be interviewed and chosen after the show is cast, due to the show’s small cast size. CLUE is also seeking musicians: Piano, Drums, Cello. Please contact us ASAP if you’re an interested musician or know someone who is.
