Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watching the DVD and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today.
Each year, eight topics are chosen by a panel of experts. This year we tackle critical issues from nuclear security to trade to the future of Europe.
Registration required. Annual fee for all 8 sessions and the Briefing Book for the year is $10.00.

November 13 Topic: Global Health: Progress and Challenges
For more than a decade Rhoda has led “Current Issues in the News” discussions at Independent Living programs on Long Island and Manhattan regarding domestic and international issues facing America. She was Executive Director of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, and co-produced a monthly radio series. Rhoda facilitates the Current Issues in the News discussions at Station Branch.
