Come meet artist Maxine Townsend-Broderick as she discusses her work, process, and inspiration, as well as Q and A to follow.
Maxine Townsend-Broderick works in a variety of media. As a painter she works in Oil, Watercolor, and Mixed Media (from fabric and sand to collage and encaustic). Maxine also enjoys print-making, creating Etchings, Aquatints, Collagraphs, and Monotype printing. She has created some sculptures, dolls and jewelry. Maxine is also a professional photographer and the owner of Maxine’s Classic Creations. She is presently a Photography/Art teacher in the N.Y.C. Dept. of Education. Maxine has exhibited her work across Long Island, New York City and the Caribbean.

Maxine has her artwork on exhibit in the Main Library's Lower Level Gallery, Main Lobby, Mezzanine and Community Room until March 28.
