Virtual Book Discussion: Not Just for Young Adults Book GroupMonday April 12, 2021
7:30 PM until 8:30 PM
The “Not Just For Young Adults” book group will discuss the book, A Kind of Paradise, by Amy Rebecca Tan, as part of the Friends of the Grafton Public Library Community Read. Copies will be available for pick up at the Library using our no-contact curbside pickup service. It is also available as a Hoopla eBook.
Description: “Thirteen-year-old Jamie Bunn made a mistake at the end of the school year. A big one. And every kid in her middle school knows all about it. Now she has to spend her summer vacation volunteering at the local library – as punishment. What a waste of a summer! Or so she thinks. But she quickly grows to love the people there and enthusiastically joins the fight to save the library. A Kind of Paradise is an unforgettable story about the power of community, the power of the library, and the power of forgiveness.” Read the book and then join us on Slack.
