The Inspirational book group will discuss The Library Book, by Susan Orlean. The book “chronicles the Los Angeles Public Library fire and its aftermath and reexamines the case of Harry Peak, the actor long suspected of setting the fire, showcases the larger, crucial role that libraries play in our lives, and delves into the evolution of libraries across the country and around the world, from their humble beginnings as a metropolitan charitable initiative to their current status as a cornerstone of national identity.” Copies will be available for pick up at the Library.“ This program is for adults.
