Local beekeeper John Hedly, who is a member of the Worcester County Beekeepers Association, will present an introduction to beekeeping for people who may be interested in what it takes to become a beekeeper. Topics will include starting a beehive, collecting honey, the physical structure of the hive, the bee colony, the importance of pollination and the environment, and much, much more.
