EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Fall Nature Adventures - Presented by Hands on Nature

Wednesday October 7, 2020
4:00 PM until 4:45 PM

Hands on Nature is excited to present free, virtual programs on Zoom! This fall, they are leading four programs in their new Fall Nature Adventures series.

In the Owls and Their Prey program, we will learn about the fascinating world of owls and their prey! Come discover the habits of owls, their adaptations, and their roles in nature. Practice owl calls, and discover the prey of our local owls! Discover more about our local owls, and gain knowledge of simple food chains. The program includes REAL owl pellets, for you to dissect at home, with guidance!

Please note that there are a limited number of owl pellet kits, which will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting October 1. Pellet kits include owl pellet and dissection tool. We will e-mail all registrants on October 1 to arrange pick-up of pellet kits. You may still attend the Zoom class even if you do not have a pellet!

These classes are recommended for ages 8-12 but all families are welcome! Register once to receive the Zoom code for the entire series.

This program is made possible through CARES Act funding to Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
