• Free assistance is available for low-income persons ($60,000 or less) who wish to have their taxes prepared by trained volunteers in the Volunteer Tax Assistance Program.
• Appointments are available on Saturdays, Feb. 10, 17, 24, Mar. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Apr. 7, 14 at 1, 2 or 3pm - please call the library or come in to schedule an appointment.

Bring the following documentation to your appointment:

• A copy of your 2016 income tax return
• Driver’s license
• Social Security card for each taxpayer
• Proof of medical insurance – Medicare card or health insurance card
• W2s (income)
• 1099s (pensions, interest, dividends, IRAs)
• If itemizing deductions, bring property tax information, medical and charitable payments.
