EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Author Talk - Daniel Everett

Thursday October 1, 2020
7:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Mankind has a distinct advantage over other terrestrial species: we can talk to one another. But how did we acquire the most advanced form of communication on Earth? Daniel L. Everett, linguist, provides a comprehensive examination of the evolutionary story of language, from the earliest attempts by hominids to the nearly seven thousand languages that exist today.

Daniel Everett is a Trustee Professor of Cognitive Sciences at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
