The library has a monthly excursion group that visits museums and other Pittsburgh locations. In May, the group will have a docent led tour of the Depreciation Lands Museum, a living history village in Allison Park. The docent will show us what early the pioneers in our area wore as clothing, including how they grew and worked fibers to make clothing, blankets etc. Registration for all trips is required and some excursions may require an admission fee. This is an adult only (18 years and older) group. Contact the library’s Reference Department for details.
