Rocks, Minerals, and Fossils with Cool-ologyMonday July 22, 2024
6:00 PM
Kids will really dig becoming junior geologists and paleontologists as they unearth information about the earth under their feet! Pan for gems, crack open geodes, learn about aggregates, make a rock cycle with crayons, and discover how real paleontologists dig for fossils!
Claudia Esposito, former teacher and founder of Cool-ology, will lead this hands on workshop! Claudia was inspired to instill the joy of learning to all students by integrating the areas of science, engineering, math, social studies, technology and language arts in a new and exciting way.
For ages 6 - 11 and registration is required.
This program is made possible with help from the Joan D. Huptfeld Bequest.
